Monet? Rembrandt? No...GREEN Charter Kindergarteners!

Kindergarten students discovered the design process and how engineers influence their lives. They explored the elements of structure and function by identifying products around them designed by engineers and asking questions engineers might ask as they design products. They are introduced to a design problem through a story in which a young girl, Angelina, wants to design a new paintbrush. Students applied their knowledge from the module to design their own paintbrushes.

With the completion of PLTW's Structure and Function module, two kindergarten classes have designed, explored, and created their own paint brushes! Mrs. Kilpatrick's class and Mrs. Moss's class were able to use their paint brushes in art with Mrs. Holmes.
