How do Spanish Speaking Countries Use Renewable Energy Sources?

Mrs. Escheverri's 7th grade students researched different Spanish speaking countries and identified how they use Renewable Resources. They then invited elementary students to come tour their countries and explore the different energy sources. They even provided each student with a passport!

Exploring Renewable Energy around the world, such fun!

Conservation Caper!

Energy is being wasted everywhere you look, but Nikki Neutron and The Energized Guyz came to GREEN to help our students become Conservation Capers!

The National Touring Theatre Company came to GREEN and performed a play about conserving our natural resources to our elementary students. It was an educational and entertaining play that supports the mission of GREEN Charter School. This event was sponsored by Duke Energy.

The drama club performed a play "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfuels" that entertained. It was an awesome evening of Energy Education!

A special thanks to all the teachers and students for supporting the mission of GREEN Charter! Check out the video prepared by Mr. Blanding!

Excitement and Intrigue with Mr. Sonmez

 "WHY?"
"HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?"
"Do IT AGAIN!"
"WOW!"
"AWESOME!"

Mr. Sonmez creates exciting Science experiments and displays that challenge our students to ask and explore. It is always fun listening to students ponder and react to the many activities that Mr. Sonmez presents to GREEN Charter students!

From building towers, exploring air pressure and surface tension, or observing paper helicopter blades, Science with Mr. Sonmez is engaging!
