Bottle Rocket on a Zip Line?

Ms. Wilkerson invited the Roper Mountain Science Center to host a Science on Wheels presentation for the 5th graders at GREEN Charter. I Fought the Laws focused on Newton's Laws of Motion in our every day lives. The students have been studying Newton's Laws of motion in science class and were thrilled to see the demonstrations. From dropping objects, to pulling each other on skateboards, the students got to witness and participate in awesome hands-on learning. The grand finale even used rocket fuel to propel a home-made "bottle rocket" across a wire!
